Membership is the key to success of any law enforcement organization. This past month began a great journey for the North Carolina Sheriff Police Alliance. The response to the Alliance has been overwhelming as our membership is increasing everyday. Durham City and County law enforcement agencies have opened their doors for recruiting members.

The reputation of the NCSPA through its leadership, experience and integrity has drawn the attention of many law enforcement officers and their agencies. While we may not always agree with positions of others we will always respect their right to feel the way they do. Many times you may have one organization who will never agree with anyone. That is when you may have to look at that organization and wonder who’s best interest they may have at heart. Here at the NCSPA you will never have to wonder because your best interest as a law enforcement officer is what we are more concerned about.

As the secretary and membership chair we will increase members by our past actions and how we as individual law enforcement officers represented others in the time of need. That in itself will increase members here through out the Research Triangle Area. Many of you may not know the police associaions well but you do know the names of those who represented you. As you will notice some of those names are the volunteer leaders in your North Carolina Sheriff Police Alliance.
